Earlybird invests in N26 USD 900m Series E. Orbit advised on fund structure.

The venture capital investor Earlybird has participated in setting up the German fintech and neobank N26’s latest financing round.

The Series E round amassed a total value of USD 900m, helping to keep Earlybird’s portfolio company a growing global player.

This is the second largest financing round for a FinTech company in Europe, making N26 the second largest bank in Germany.

N26 has been a pioneer in the banking world since its seed financing round in 2014, which Earlybird was one of the first supporters of.

Since then, not only has the company grown tremendously, but it is also an agent for future change. From Earlybird, the team around Dr. Christian Nagel and Moritz Schollähn has been involved in this project.

The team from Orbit, Dr. Simon Schachinger, Dr. Philip Mostertz and Philipp Neidel, advised on setting up the growth fund and are honored to be working with the colleagues from Earlybird on this exciting and promising venture.
