Bioventure Management’s latest club deal invests in Repairon GmbH, a pioneering biotech company on a mission to revolutionize cardiac regenerative medicine.
Repairon, a spin-off from the University Medical Center Göttingen (UMG), is developing the world’s first clinically tested “heart patch” based on Engineered Human Myocardium (EHM) – functional human heart muscle tissue grown in the lab to biologically repair damaged hearts.
Alongside Bioventure, the life science group Sartorius has increased its stake in Repairon.
Orbit advised on all legal, regulatory, and tax aspects of the structuring of Club Deal 14.
